LED
PHOTO THERAPY ( Light Emitting Diodes )
is
an effective, safe and non-painful treatment for mild to moderately
severe acne vulgaris, particularly for papulopustular acne lesions.
The Blue light kills the
p.acne bacteria, whilst the Red
light treats sebaceous gland inflammation and gently rejuvenates the
skin. Essentially, this treatment benefits acne sufferers by treating
the before and after effects of acne within the one program. A following
treatment of Yellow light
would help to reduce future outbreaks of acne that have not yet reached
the surface of the skin.
LHE
MICRO PHOTO THERAPY ( Light & Heat Energy )
New generation of acne treatment
systems using the unique LHE technology effectively clear inflammatory
acne lesions in just 1/3 the time it takes for standard topical and
oral treatments to do the same. Since its development, LHE has made
tremendous strides in acne clearance and has been found to be a very
effective treatment modality. In clinical trials LHE has demonstrated
up to 90% clearance of acne lesions after an 8 session, 4 week treatment
course. Most people experience up to 90 percent acne clearance in
four weeks. It takes less than a third of the time of traditional
treatments and significantly reduces the risk of scarring. There are
no adverse side effects, discomfort, patient downtime and exposure
to antibiotics. Red
and green light penetrate deep into the skin to start a chemical reaction

ULTRASONIC
EXFOLIATION & PAINLESS EXTRACTIONS
Ultrasonic deep cleansing is a skin rejuvenation
system that uses high speed, low-frequency ultrasound vibrations to
gently and effectively exfoliate and clean your skin. The rapid oscillation
of the spatula primed with peeling solution, produces controlled exfoliation
while thermal energy generated and the microcurrent that passes through
the skin assist improving circulation and stimulating collagen production.
Exfoliation and deep cleansing effectively remove the top layer of skin
cells, helps reduce blackheads and whiteheads as well reduce sebum and
acne-causing pathogens, giving you clean, clear and glowing skin. Maintenance
treatment once a month can help you achieve clean, clear and translucent
skin.
As with any skin care procedure, clients need to be aware that there are no quick fixes or “miracle cures”. Noticeable results are often seen after the first treatment, the long-term effectiveness of this or any skin care treatment is only as good as the client’s adherence to a consistent home care program and lifestyle that are in keeping with the desired results.

Acne Treatment Details
All client's skin
is thoroughly examined during the consultation and before any treatment
begins. All treatments and products are completely customized to the client's
type of acne.
Our highly effective acne treatment program consists of a two-fold approach. Clients achieve clear skin through a combination of receiving 6 to 8 in-office treatments and using our pharmaceutical grade products. Most, if not all, acne will be under control in approximately 3-4 months. Results can be seen within 2 weeks of beginning treatment with significant results at about 6 weeks.
Why Do You Need Acne Treatments?
In-office acne treatments
need to be performed every 2 weeks for the following reasons:
• To allow us to monitor your progress and make changes to your
home care routine as needed.
• To exfoliate the skin so that home care products can penetrate
the pore more easily.
• To lighten dark spots (if needed) that are caused by acne lesions.
• To hydrate the skin so that it is receptive to home care products.
Sometimes these products can dry out the skin somewhat as a client is
getting used to them.
• To extract existing acne impactions.
• For killing acne bacteria inside the pore.
Products alone will
not get you clear. The acne treatments are designed to 'speed' up the
process of getting your skin clear. We need to closely monitor your progress
and make sure we are pushing your skin to getting clear but not so much
to the point of irritation. Remember, we are partners in your treatment
process working together as a team to get your skin clear and healthy
as quickly as possible.
Please review the following cancellation policy carefully.
Missing or Changing Appointments : In consideration of each other, a 24-hour cancellation policy is in effect. We will keep a credit card on file to cover these or any other outstanding fees. Same day cancellations will be charged 50% of the service. "No shows" will be charged 100% of the service. If you are late, the session will still end at the pre-appointed time.
First appointment is about 45 to 60 minutes. Follow up appointments are approximately 25-45 minutes depending upon the type of treatment being given and the amount of extractions being performed. Treatments are done every two weeks until your skin clears. This usually takes from 6 to 12 weeks (approximately 6 to 8 treatments). At each treatment we will review your progress and make any necessary adjustments to your home care routine to keep you ahead of the adaptation process.
Pigmentation Lift
This treatment is designed to 'speed up' the fading process of hyperpigmentation
(discolored spots) from old acne lesions. Clients must first have undergone
a series of acne treatments before this service can be performed.
It will take approximately
6 to 8 treatments over a 90-day period to get you clear. Come in for your
treatments every 2 weeks and use the recommended home care products. That's
all it takes to achieve beautiful clear skin!
