The protocol Natalya uses for her acne program is based on Laura’s teachings and the research, teachings and practice of one of the most renowned Acne Experts and Research Dermatologist in the world, Dr. James Fulton Jr., M.D., Ph.D., co-developer of Retin-A®, founder of Vivant Pharmaceuticals, (formerly known as The Acne Research Institute) and author of the book Acne Rx.

PHOTO THERAPY is an effective, safe and non-painful
treatment for mild to moderately severe acne vulgaris, particularly
for papulopustular acne lesions.
The Blue light kills the
p.acne bacteria, whilst the Red
light treats sebaceous gland inflammation and gently rejuvenates the
skin. Essentially, this treatment benefits acne sufferers by treating
the before and after effects of acne within the one program. A following
treatment of Yellow light
would help to reduce future outbreaks of acne that have not yet reached
the surface of the skin.

standard topical and oral treatments to do the same. Since its development,
LHE has made tremendous strides in acne clearance and has been found
to be a very effective treatment modality. In clinical trials LHE
has demonstrated up to 90% clearance of acne lesions after an 8 session,
4 week treatment course.
Most people experience up to 90 percent acne clearance in four weeks. It takes less than a third of the time of traditional treatments and significantly reduces the risk of scarring. There are no adverse side effects, discomfort, patient downtime and exposure to antibiotics.
Red and green light penetrate deep into the skin to start a chemical reaction that ultimately destroys the acne at its source. The heat intensifies the process and gently opens the pores to release the clog and soothe the inflammation.

ULTRASONIC MASSAGE & INFUSION helps the penetration of regenerating skin care products into the deeper levels of skin tissue, again accelerating blood circulation and the strengthening of the skin tissue metabolism.
EFFECTIVE HOME CARE REGIMENT As with any skin care procedure, clients need to be aware that there are no quick fixes or “miracle cures”. Noticeable results are often seen after the first treatment, the long-term effectiveness of this or any skin care treatment is only as good as the client’s adherence to a consistent home care program and lifestyle that are in keeping with the desired results.
Each acne treatment has a specific focus for what the skin needs at the time of treatment. Sometimes the skin will need more hydration, other times it will need more anti-bacterial and/or anti-inflammatory action.
Your esthetician will analyze your skin at the beginning of every treatment to assess which treatment would serve you best. Treatments are performed every week or every two weeks until your skin clears. Usually that takes anywhere from 6 to 12 weeks.
